A Career Built on Security Leadership
Syed founded Accel Information Technology in Abu Dhabi in 2009, growing it from a regional IT services firm into a cybersecurity and compliance consultancy serving government, commercial and SME clients across the UAE, India, the UK and the US.
Under his leadership, the group achieved ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001 certification – independently audited standards applied to every engagement – and is now progressing toward ISO 42001 AI Management System certification.
In the UK, Syed leads Accel Infotec Ltd, bringing enterprise-grade cybersecurity, ISO 27001/42001 implementation and managed IT security to small and mid-sized businesses across Hertfordshire, North London and Surrey – at a price point designed for SMEs rather than enterprises.
His approach is deliberately practical: security controls that auditors accept and businesses can actually operate, delivered by an in-house team rather than outsourced sub-contractors.
